ECHO Gecko Trout Kit - 7'9" 5WT

ECHO Gecko Trout Kit — 7'9" 5WT

The ECHO Gecko Trout Kit is a complete fly fishing outfit designed specifically to make fly fishing approachable and fun for younger anglers. Its shorter length, forgiving action, and comfortable grip make it easier for smaller anglers to learn proper casting while still providing the performance needed for real days on the water.

The 7'9" 5WT is a versatile trout setup with a unique small lower grip below the reel seat. This allows the Gecko to be cast with either one or two hands, giving younger anglers additional leverage and control while developing their casting skills. ECHO describes the action as modest and forgiving. ECHO Fly Fishing

The complete kit comes with the rod, reel, fly line, backing, and leader, so there's no need to build the outfit piece by piece. It's a straightforward setup that can be strung up and taken directly to the water. ECHO Fly Fishing
