Sage SALT R8 Fly Rod

Sage SALT R8 Fly Rod

The Sage SALT R8 is purpose-built for demanding saltwater fly fishing, combining serious pulling power with the touch, accuracy, and feel needed to make precise presentations to moving fish. From technical flats fishing to powerful tarpon and bluewater applications, the SALT R8 is designed to perform when opportunities are fast and conditions are unforgiving.

Built with Sage’s Revolution 8 Technology, the SALT R8 delivers increased strength without unnecessary weight or bulk. Its fast action generates the line speed needed to cut through wind and carry larger saltwater flies, while maintaining a responsive feel and intuitive loading point for quick, accurate shots.

Saltwater-specific guides, a heavy-duty reel seat, premium cork, and an EVA fighting butt complete a rod designed to withstand hard use around salt, sand, boats, and powerful fish.
