Sage SPEY R8 Fly Rod

Sage SPEY R8 Fly Rod

The Sage SPEY R8 brings Sage’s Revolution 8 technology to the world of two-handed fly fishing, delivering a lightweight, responsive rod with the power and feel needed for efficient Spey and switch casting. Designed to create a direct connection between the angler and the cast, the SPEY R8 provides excellent feedback while maintaining the strength needed to control long lines and powerful fish.

The 11'6" 7 WT is a versatile switch-style rod designed to work with both Skagit and Scandi casting systems. Its shorter two-handed length provides excellent line control and casting versatility while remaining manageable in tighter quarters where a longer traditional Spey rod may be less practical.

Whether swinging flies for steelhead, targeting salmon, or covering larger rivers with a two-handed setup, the SPEY R8 combines modern Sage performance with the smooth power and control demanded by dedicated two-handed anglers.
