Sage TROUT Fly Reel

Sage TROUT Fly Reel

The Sage TROUT Fly Reel blends classic styling with modern performance for anglers who appreciate a traditional look without giving up the reliability of a contemporary drag system. Inspired by Sage’s historic reel designs, the TROUT features a full-frame, narrow-profile construction that pairs beautifully with modern and classic trout rods alike.

At the heart of the TROUT is Sage’s Sealed Carbon System (SCS) drag, providing smooth, consistent pressure when protecting light tippet or controlling hard-running fish. A large-arbor design allows for fast line pickup, while the concave arbor provides additional strength and capacity.

Available in three sizes, the TROUT covers everything from lightweight creek setups to everyday trout fishing and larger freshwater applications.
